TELL ME NO - VELVY

adventurous creatures intertwine with unruly emotional outbursts on velvy’s debut album “Tell Me No”.

the 10 songs embrace constant change and blur the line between the real and the supernatural.

the tracks “It’s a Tie”, “Tell Me No”, and “Birth”, cut straight into toxic relationships that spark both insecurity and addiction. a naïve obsession with the dangerous, the dramatic, and the odd outweigh reason.
the naïve creates a red thread to the fantasy narratives found in the tracks “Oh” and “Dewy Hill”.

the both childlike and serious themes are tied together by playful and unpredictable productions that speak to the boundary-seeking desires within us.
