storm & stilhed is a 22 minute sounddesign-work commisioned by artists birgitte munk and vibeke jerichau for their exhibition in 2022.

about the installation
here, the changeability and vulnerability of nature is zoomed in on. sensuous attention and a photographic gaze are combined to explore phenomena and traces in the sea landscape – snapshots suspended in time through the camera lens and converted into graphic photographic prints.

the music
is a blend of traditional instrumental pieces of clarinet, pedal steel, electric guitar, clarinet, piano and percussion with field recordings from the westcoast of denmark. inspired by soundwalks it’s supposed to inspire the listener to go in the footsteps of the artists.
